Counterpart is a new Starz Original Series created by Justin Marks. The SciFi/Drama stars J. K. Simmons as Howard Silk. After nearly 30 years on the job, Howard learns the Berlin-centered UN office in which he works is situated over a doorway into a parallel dimension with both sides engaged in a new cold war. In addition to the cross-dimensional espionage at its core, the show explores the themes of identity, what ifs, and lost love.
